We have been dancing as a "hobby" since we first met at a high school dance and have been dancing ever since.  Our "hobby" eventually evolved into "teaching" in 1996 when we decided to focus on "country" dance including 2-Step, Cha, East Coast Swing and Fixed and Progressive Pattern.  

A short time later, our increasing passion for dance allowed us to embrace "swing", including West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Hustle, and Night Club 2, as well as "social” ballroom and Latin.  We presently offer lessons in these various dance styles to people of all ages, singles and couples, in private and group sessions.

Living in Grimsby, Ontario, allows us to travel within the greater Toronto and Buffalo areas 2 or 3 times a week to various dance events.  We continue to participate in training workshops conducted by many internationally recognized professionals in the United States as well as Canada.

Our professional background in education has greatly assisted us in our teaching style and technique.  We take great pride in providing quality instruction in a "fun and casual" atmosphere with emphasis on the "social" rather than the "competitive" aspect of dancing.

Over the years, we have provided weekly instruction at the Wild Rose in Toronto, Club Heidelberg in St. Catharines, Club Infinity in Buffalo, Beamsville Legion in Lincoln, Burlington Social Club in Burlington, District School Board of Niagara, Parks and Recreation Dept. in West Lincoln, Coronation Centre in Niagara Falls, and in our home studio in Grimsby. We  also teach occasionally for The Toronto Swing Dance Society, the Buffalo Swing Dance Group and at many special events in Ontario - Toronto (Toronto Open Swing Dance Championships, Canadian Dance Classic), London, Ottawa, Brantford, Wasaga Beach, Hamilton,  St. Catharines, Buffalo, to name a few.  At the present time, we are teaching both swing and Latin in the Niagara area.

We are a licensed DJ service with the Canadian Disc Jockey Assoc. and provide dance music at various venues such as social dances, swing dances, weddings, corp. events and at our own dances in Niagara.

Although our involvement in dance takes up a lot of our time, we enjoy travel, movies, theatre, and visits with our 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
